When I started this blog I had no idea where Making it Mindful would go. I had no idea if anyone would ever read it and I can remember feeling so scared about putting my thoughts “out there” – but 2 years on, I am so glad that I made the decision to try.
I started this blog after I struggled with health anxiety around my asthma – it had got to the point where I was completely exhausted due to panicking that I was going to have an attack at any moment. It was a vicious cycle because the worse my anxiety got, the worse my asthma got.
Meditation and mindfulness were lights in the dark for my mind when I discovered them.
I wanted so badly to keep up my new habit and I knew that one way to do that was to make myself accountable to others – and so Making it Mindful was born.
My aim when I started was to create a way to share my experiences and what I was learning – I thought that even if I could help just one person it would all be worth it.
So 2 years on I’ve shared over 70 posts which have been read almost 10,000 times in total, in over 90 countries all over the world. Although I am nowhere near the dizzying views of some of the big name bloggers, every single one of these views means the world to me.
So thank you, honestly from the bottom of my heart, for taking time out of your day to visit Making it Mindful. I am so excited for what the future will bring 🙂
In the meantime, here is a look back at my most popular posts so far:
Thanks again for reading.
